Higher Education received approximately 48% of the available budget for the six-year period, followed by School Education (25%), Vocational Education and Training (23%), and Adult Education (4%).
Two-thirds of the funding was assigned to mobility projects from the different sectoral target-groups.
One-third of the funding has been allocated to cooperation projects among different sectors and countries of the Programme.
Results of Programme Execution
The Erasmus+ Programme follows the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) which, between 2007 and 2013, provided 162 million euros in Portugal for almost 8 thousand mobility and partnership projects; it funded approximately 95 thousand mobilities for learners, teaching staff and professionals from all sectors.
